In Tuesday's league outing, the Lake Mead Academy Eagles (Henderson, NV) basketball squad felled the visiting Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA), by a margin of 63-48.
The Eagles (12-2) will now prepare for their outing against Laughlin (Laughlin, NV). The Cougars go into the 2A Southern outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Laughlin thwarted Spring Mountain (Las Vegas, NV), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Democracy Prep Agassi Campus for a 2A Southern outing on Friday, January 6. Needles will clash with a Blue Knights squad coming off a 63-59 league loss to The Meadows School (Las Vegas, NV). The Blue Knights record now stands at 9-5.
