In Tuesday's league outing, the Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) basketball squad beat the visiting Lake Mead Academy Eagles (Henderson, NV), by a count of 71-62.
The Mustangs (12-9) will now prepare for their outing against Lincoln County (Panaca, NV). The Lynx go into the 2A Southern outing with a 17-6 record. In their last outing, Lincoln County was topped by Needles (Needles, CA), 67-60, in a league outing.
The Eagles now hold a 16-6 record. They play next when they host Laughlin for a 2A Southern outing on Monday, February 6.
