The Valley Indians basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting Oak Hill Oaks to 55 in the Indians league victory on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wheelersburg for a Southern Ohio II contest on Friday, January 6. Valley will battle a Pirates team coming off a 64-55 non-league win over Portsmouth (Portsmouth, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 6-2.
The Oaks (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Waverly (Waverly, OH). The Tigers come into the Southern Ohio II contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Waverly was defeated by Portsmouth West (West Portsmouth, OH), 50-31, in a league contest.
