Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Oak Hill Oaks (Oak Hill, OH), 52-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Valley upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Indians travel to Whiteoak (Mowrystown, OH) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Whiteoak won 70-48 in their recent non-league bout against Piketon (Piketon, OH)

Next up, the Oaks clash with the Notre Dame Titans (Portsmouth, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 4. Oak Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 14-6 record after their 42-32 league win over St. Joseph Central (Ironton, OH).
