The Fond du Lac Cardinals basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Appleton North Lightning to 40 in the Cardinals league victory on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kaukauna for a Fox Valley contest on Thursday, January 5. Fond du Lac will battle a Galloping Ghosts team coming off a 57-53 league win over Oshkosh North (Oshkosh, WI). The Galloping Ghosts record now stands at 11-0.
The Lightning (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Oshkosh West (Oshkosh, WI). The Wildcats come into the Fox Valley contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Oshkosh West prevailed over Appleton East (Appleton, WI), 56-54, in a league contest.
