The Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT) basketball crushed the visiting South Burlington Wolves (South Burlington, VT), 50-18 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Redhawks (7-0) will now prepare for their test against Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT). The Green Knights go into the Metro test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Rice Memorial walloped Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT), 51-48, in a league test.
The Wolves now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Mt. Mansfield for a Lake test on Saturday, January 7. South Burlington will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 58-49 non-league loss to St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT). The Cougars record now stands at 6-5.
