The Cross Roads Bobcats basketball team (Malakoff, TX), dropped 38-21 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Italy Gladiators (Italy, TX)
The Gladiators now sport a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rio Vista for a 2A Region II District 12 battle on Friday, January 6. Italy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 60-29 non-league loss to Grandview (Grandview, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 8-10.
The Bobcats (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Frankston (Frankston, TX). The Indians come into the 2A Region III District 19 battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Frankston dropped by Bullard (Bullard, TX), 36-22, in a non-league battle.
