North Carolina High School Basketball - Draughn trounces Madison

The Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Madison Patriots (Marshall, NC), 61-27 in Tuesday's league test.

The Wildcats (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Freedom was trounced by Draughn (Valdese, NC), 54-38, in a non-league test.

The Patriots now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Polk County for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 4. Madison will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 55-16 league win over R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-5.
