The Salisbury Hornets basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting East Davidson Golden Eagles to 24 in the Hornets league victory on Tuesday.

The Hornets now hold a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Lexington for a 1A/2A Conference 33 bout on Friday, January 6. Salisbury will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 46-37 league win over West Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-7.

Next up, the Golden Eagles clash with the South Davidson Wildcats (Denton, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 33 bout, on Friday, January 6. East Davidson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 69-20 league win over Thomasville (Thomasville, NC).
