The Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) basketball crushed the host East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC), 64-23 in Tuesday's league test.
The Hornets (17-3) will now prepare for their test against Lexington (Lexington, NC). The Yellowjackets go into the 1A/2A Conference 33 test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Lexington walloped West Davidson (Lexington, NC), 63-28, in a league test.
The Golden Eagles now own a 4-18 record. They play next when they travel to South Davidson for a 1A/2A Conference 33 test on Friday, February 3. East Davidson will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 55-31 league win over Thomasville (Thomasville, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-12.
