With the victory, Southwestern Randolph improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Wheatmore (Trinity, NC) to play the Warriors in a 1A/2A Conference 31 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Wheatmore lost 54-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Eastern Randolph will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Jets come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 43-40 league loss to Graham (Graham, NC).
