North Carolina High School Basketball - Southwestern Randolph knocked off by Eastern Randolph

The Eastern Randolph Wildcats basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Southwestern Randolph Cougars to 34 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Uwharrie Charter for a 1A/2A Conference 31 contest on Friday, February 3. Eastern Randolph will meet a Eagles team coming off a 56-33 league loss to Randleman (Randleman, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 10-11.

The Cougars (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against Wheatmore (Trinity, NC). The Warriors enter the 1A/2A Conference 31 contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Wheatmore was outscored by Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC), 71-44, in a league contest.
