The North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT) basketball nipped the host Morgan Huskies (Clinton, CT), 50-44 in Tuesday's league test.

The Thunderbirds (2-4) will now prepare for their test against East Hampton (East Hampton, CT). The Bellringers go into the Shoreline test with a 5-1 record.

The Huskies now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to East Hampton for a Shoreline test on Thursday, January 5. Morgan will encounter a Bellringers squad coming off a 38-29 league loss to Cromwell (Cromwell, CT). The Bellringers record now stands at 5-1.
