Connecticut High School Basketball - Morgan edges North Branford

The Morgan Huskies (Clinton, CT) basketball nipped the host North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT), 49-45 in Friday's league test.

The Huskies (8-11) will now prepare for their test against Valley Regional (Deep River, CT). The Warriors go into the Shoreline test with a 16-3 record. In their last test, Valley Regional got by Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT), 49-43, in a league test.

The Thunderbirds now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to East Hampton for a Shoreline test on Tuesday, February 14. North Branford will encounter a Bellringers squad coming off a 44-37 league win over Cromwell (Cromwell, CT). The Bellringers record now stands at 17-1.
