Woodland Dragons (Baileyville, ME) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Shead Tigers (Eastport, ME), 37-19 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Woodland upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Dragons host Narraguagus (Harrington, ME) to play the Knights in a C North bout on Thursday, January 5. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 4-4. Narraguagus lost 53-39 in their recent non-league bout against Washington Academy (East Machias, ME)

Next up, the Tigers play the Machias Bulldogs (Machias, ME) in a D North bout, on Thursday, January 5. Shead will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 61-24 league win over Shead (Eastport, ME).
