With the victory, Galax improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Maroon Tide host Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 0-5.

Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Holston Cavaliers (Damascus, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Grayson County will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record.
