With the victory, Honaker upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Twin Valley (Pilgrims Knob, VA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Golden Wave play the Richlands Blue Tornado (Richlands, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. Grundy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
