North Carolina High School Basketball - Jack Britt can't hold off Purnell Swett

The Purnell Swett Rams basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host Jack Britt Buccaneers to 36 in the Rams non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Rams now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scotland for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5. Purnell Swett will battle a Fighting Scots team coming off a 67-44 non-league win over Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Fighting Scots record now stands at 7-2.
The Buccaneers (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC). The Falcons go into the non-league bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Seventy-First held off Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC), 77-50, in a non-league bout.
