South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC), 22-0 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, South Lenoir upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to James Kenan (Warsaw, NC) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 2-2.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Wallace-Rose Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Hawks come into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 51-46 league win over Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC).
