Massachusetts High School Basketball - Amesbury succumbs to Georgetown

The Georgetown Royals topped the host Amesbury Redhawks basketball team by a margin of 59-39 in Wednesday's league test.

The Royals (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Manchester Essex (Manchester, MA). The Hornets go into the Cape Ann - Small test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Manchester Essex thwarted Rockport (Rockport, MA), 84-56, in a league test.

The Redhawks now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Hamilton-Wenham Regional for a non-league test on Friday, January 5.
