In Thursday's league outing, the Georgetown Royals (Georgetown, MA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Amesbury Redhawks (Amesbury, MA), by a margin of 69-44.

The Royals (11-4) will now prepare for their outing against Triton Regional (Byfield, MA). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 0-6 record.

The Redhawks now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Pentucket Regional for a non-league outing on Monday, February 5. Amesbury will clash with a squad coming off a 77-51 non-league loss to Manchester Essex (Manchester, MA). The record now stands at 0-5.
