The Loyalsock Township Lancers basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the host Bloomsburg Panthers to 54 in the Lancers league victory on Wednesday.

The Lancers now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warrior Run for a Heartland III contest on Friday, January 5. Loyalsock Township will battle a Defenders team coming off a 44-43 league loss to Hughesville (Hughesville, PA). The Defenders record now stands at 5-2.

The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Carmel (Mount Carmel, PA). The RED TORNADOES enter the Heartland III match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Mount Carmel crushed Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA), 58-52, in a league match.
