Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Brentwood tops Steel Valley

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Brentwood Spartans (Pittsburgh, PA) and the visiting Steel Valley Ironmen (Munhall, PA), saw Brentwood's basketball squad knock off Steel Valley by a tally of 53-44.
With the victory, Brentwood improves its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Golden Eagles in a WPIAL 3A 2 challenge on Friday, January 12. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-5.
Next up, the Ironmen play the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers (Coraopolis, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 2 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Steel Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 57-52 league win over Sto-Rox (McKees Rocks, PA).
