The La Center Wildcats (La Center, WA) basketball nipped the host Stevenson Bulldogs (Stevenson, WA), 79-73 in Wednesday's league test.

The Wildcats (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Seton Catholic (Vancouver, WA). The Cougars go into the 1A Trico test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Seton Catholic got by Columbia (White Salmon, WA), 74-42, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host King's Way Christian for a 1A Trico test on Friday, January 5. Stevenson will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 62-47 league win over Castle Rock (Castle Rock, WA). The Knights record now stands at 5-6.
