Vermont High School Basketball - Montpelier crushes Lyndon Institute

Montpelier Solons (Montpelier, VT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT), 64-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Montpelier upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Solons host U-32 (Montpelier, VT) to play the Raiders in a Capital bout on Friday, January 5. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 3-3. U-32 lost 49-45 in their recent league bout against Lamoille (Hyde Park, VT)

Next up, the Vikings play the Harwood Highlanders (Moretown, VT) in a Capital game, on Friday, January 5. Lyndon Institute will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Highlanders enter the game with a 5-2 record after their 66-64 non-league win over North Country Union (Newport, VT).
