Vermont High School Basketball - Montpelier overwhelms Lyndon Institute

February 7, 2024: Montpelier, VT 05602

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Montpelier Solons (Montpelier, VT) and the visiting Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT), saw Montpelier's basketball squad wallop Lyndon Institute by a tally of 82-43.

With the victory, Montpelier improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Solons travel to Randolph (Randolph, VT) to confront the Ghosts in a Capital challenge on Friday, February 9. The Ghosts come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Randolph won 77-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Peoples Academy (Morrisville, VT)

Next up, the Vikings confront the Spaulding Crimson Tide (Barre, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 9. Lyndon Institute will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record.
