The Marion Scarlet Hurricanes (Marion, VA) basketball nipped the host Northwood Panthers (Saltville, VA), 62-59 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Scarlet Hurricanes (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Rural Retreat was tipped by Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA), 50-48, in a non-league test.
