The Marion Scarlet Hurricanes basketball team scored 81 points and restricted the visiting Northwood Panthers to 30 in the Scarlet Hurricanes non-league victory on Monday.
The Scarlet Hurricanes now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patrick Henry for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20. Marion will battle a Rebels team coming off a 63-47 non-league win over Rye Cove (Clinchport, VA). The Rebels record now stands at 9-1.
The Panthers (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Marion (Marion, VA). The Scarlet Hurricanes come into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record.
