Michigan High School Basketball - Divine Child topped by Mercy

The Mercy Marlins basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host Divine Child Falcons to 24 in the Marlins league victory on Wednesday.
The Marlins now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Goodrich for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Mercy will battle a Martians team coming off a 46-32 non-league win over Hemlock (Hemlock, MI). The Martians record now stands at 6-0.
The Falcons (1-7) will now prepare for their bout against Regina (Warren, MI). The go into the Catholic Central bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Regina was knocked off by Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI), 54-49, in a non-league bout.
