North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwest Cabarrus can't hold off Central Cabarrus

The Central Cabarrus Vikings basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Northwest Cabarrus Trojans to 45 in the Vikings non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Vikings now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Rowan for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Central Cabarrus will battle a Falcons team coming off a 44-30 league loss to Concord (Concord, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 0-6.
The Trojans (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, East Rowan edged Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC), 70-15, in a non-league contest.
