The Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) basketball nipped the host Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC), 27-25 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Vikings (6-3) will now prepare for their test against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 3-9 record.
The Trojans now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Robinson for a test on Friday, February 2. Northwest Cabarrus will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 59-37 league win over East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-5.
