With the victory, Fleming upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Colonels travel to Northside (Roanoke, VA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 9-1. Northside won 61-49 in their recent non-league bout against Salem (Salem, VA)

Next up, the Terriers play the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. William Byrd will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 44-41 non-league loss to Staunton River (Moneta, VA).
