Virginia High School Basketball - Monticello knocked off by Louisa County

The Louisa County Lions basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Monticello Mustangs to 37 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Lions now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Goochland for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Louisa County will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 49-17 non-league loss to Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-5.
The Mustangs (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Western Albemarle ran past Orange County (Orange, VA), 50-42, in a non-league contest.
