Texas High School Basketball - Tenaha holds off Garrison

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Tenaha Tigers basketball team scored a close 50-46 win over the Garrison Bulldogs.
The Tigers (17-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Gary (Gary, TX). The Bobcats come into the 2A Region III District 23 challenge with a 16-6 record. In their last challenge, Gary edged Elysian Fields (Elysian Fields, TX), 56-43, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Joaquin Rams (Joaquin, TX) in a 2A Region III District 23 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Garrison will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 65-32 league loss to Beckville (Beckville, TX).
