In Friday's league contest, the visiting Saydel Eagles basketball team scored a big 68-40 win over the Greene County Rams.

The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Warhawks come into the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Southeast Warren smashed Lenox (Lenox, IA), 54-46, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rams battle the West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA) in a Heart of Iowa - Large contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Greene County will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Trojans come into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 50-28 league win over Roland-Story (Story City, IA).
