In Tuesday's league test, the Saydel Eagles (Des Moines, IA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA), by a score of 77-53.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, February 6. Saydel will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Sabers come into the test with a 6-10 record after their 69-59 non-league loss to New London (New London, IA).

The Rams (3-16) will now prepare for their test against West Marshall (State Center, IA). The Trojans come into the Heart of Iowa - Large test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, West Marshall was routed by Roland-Story (Story City, IA), 42-37, in a league test.
