Kentucky High School Basketball - Lewis County overwhelmed by Russell

In Friday's league test, the Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY) basketball squad trounced the visiting Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY), by a final score of 62-37.

Next, the Red Devils clash with the Expression Prep Academy Lions (Huntington, WV) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 4. Russell will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 6-6 record after their 85-74 non-league win over Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY).

The Lions (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Greenup County (Greenup, KY). The Musketeers come into the District 63 test with a 2-7 record.
