The Raiders (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX). The Indians come into the 6A Region II District 11 contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Waxahachie edged Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX), 73-67, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Skeeters battle the Lancaster Tigers (Lancaster, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Mesquite will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 15-5 record after their 67-48 non-league win over Red Oak (Red Oak, TX).
