In Friday's league contest, the visiting St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors basketball team scored a good 52-38 triumph over the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion.
The Chancellors (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Durham Flight HomeSchool (Durham, NC). The Flight go into the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Durham Flight HomeSchool was topped by Oak Forest (Wake Forest, NC), 63-42, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lion battle the Thales Academy Apex Titans (Apex, NC) in a NCISAA Raleigh Area contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 4-9 record after their 61-60 non-league win over Varsity Opponent (, ).
