The Oswayo Valley Green Wave (Shinglehouse, PA) basketball edged the host Northern Potter Panthers (Ulysses, PA), 41-35 in Friday's league bout.

The Green Wave now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Bolivar-Richburg for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 8. Oswayo Valley will play a Wolverines team coming off a 48-38 non-league win over Campbell-Savona (Campbell, NY). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Northern Potter falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Cameron County (Emporium, PA) to play the Raiders in a North Tier bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Cameron County lost 56-46 in their recent league bout against Port Allegany (Port Allegany, PA)
