In Friday's league test, the Oswayo Valley Green Wave (Shinglehouse, PA) basketball squad got by the visiting Northern Potter Panthers (Ulysses, PA), by a score of 38-35.

Next, the Green Wave clash with the Port Allegany Gators (Port Allegany, PA) in a North Tier test, on Tuesday, February 4. Oswayo Valley will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record. The Gators come into the test with a 14-4 record after their 45-31 league loss to Cameron County (Emporium, PA).

The Panthers (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Cameron County (Emporium, PA). The Raiders come into the North Tier test with a 11-9 record. In their last test, Cameron County was nipped by Otto-Eldred (Duke Center, PA), 33-31, in a league test.
