Mississippi High School Basketball - Pontotoc overwhelms West Point

The Pontotoc Warriors basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting West Point Green Wave to 22 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now possess a 11-3 record. They play next when they host Corinth for a 5A Region 1 game on Tuesday, January 7.
With the loss, West Point falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Green wave travel to Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS) to confront the Wildcats in a 5A Region 1 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 5-10. Clarksdale lost 58-48 in their recent league game against New Hope (Columbus, MS)
