In Friday's league contest, the host Southwest Christian School Eagles basketball team scored a good 35-26 triumph over the Trinity Christian Lions.
The Eagles (17-4) will now prepare for their contest against Midland Christian (Midland, TX). The Mustangs go into the TAPPS 5A District 1 contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Midland Christian was topped by DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY), 48-31, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Midland Christian Mustangs (Midland, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 1 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Trinity Christian will attempt to better on its 7-14 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 15-6 record after their 47-34 league win over Southwest Christian School (Fort Worth, TX).
