North Carolina High School Basketball - Eastern Guilford sneaks past Rockingham County

The Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC) basketball edged the visiting Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC), 50-47 in Friday's league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Atkins for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. Eastern Guilford will play a Camels team coming off a 71-31 non-league win over Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Camels record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Rockingham County falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to High Point Central (High Point, NC) to play the Bison in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 1-7.
