North Carolina High School Basketball - Eastern Guilford knocks off Rockingham County

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Eastern Guilford Wildcats basketball team scored a good 48-40 win over the Rockingham County Cougars.

The Wildcats (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC). The Camels come into the contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Atkins defeated Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 56-17, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Cougars meet the High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, February 4. Rockingham County will attempt to advance on its 8-9 season record. The Bison enter the battle with a 1-15 record after their 35-21 non-league loss to Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC).
