The Colonial Beach Drifters (Colonial Beach, VA) basketball nipped the visiting King & Queen Central Royal Tigers (King & Queen Court House, VA), 69-63 in Monday's non-league test.
The Drifters (2-13) will now prepare for their test against Lancaster (Lancaster, VA). The Red Devils go into the Northern Neck test with a 17-0 record. In their last test, Lancaster got by Bruton (Williamsburg, VA), 81-46, in a non-league test.
The Royal Tigers now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Rappahannock for a non-league test on Thursday, February 2. King & Queen Central will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 59-57 league loss to Westmoreland (Montross, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-12.
