The North Community Polars (Minneapolis, MN) basketball felled the visiting Minneapolis Southwest Lakers (Minneapolis, MN), 82-69 in Monday's non-league test.
The Polars (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 13-1 record. In their last test, Lincoln thwarted Brookings (Brookings, SD), 71-44, in a league test.
The Lakers now own a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Roseville for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Minneapolis Southwest will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 63-62 non-league win over Park (Cottage Grove, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 9-7.
