Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Union Area trounces Bishop Canevin

The Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Bishop Canevin Crusaders (Pittsburgh, PA), 55-26 in Monday's league test.
The Scotties (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA). The Wolverine go into the non-league test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Ellwood City walloped Riverside (Ellwood City, PA), 52-33, in a league test.
The Crusaders now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Eden Christian Academy for a WPIAL 1A 1 test on Thursday, February 2. Bishop Canevin will encounter a squad coming off a 35-28 league loss to Aquinas Academy (Gibsonia, PA). The record now stands at 5-11.
