Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bishop Canevin edges Union Area

The Bishop Canevin Crusaders (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA), 37-36 in Thursday's league test.
The Crusaders (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Obama Academy of International Studies (Pittsburgh, PA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Obama Academy of International Studies got by Perry Traditional Academy (Pittsburgh, PA), 68-33, in a league test.
The Scotties now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Trinity for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. Union Area will encounter a Hillers squad coming off a 49-27 league win over Moon Area (Moon Township, PA). The Hillers record now stands at 5-3.
