Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Hondo Valley Eagles (Hondo, NM) and the host Carrizozo Grizzlies (Carrizozo, NM), saw Hondo Valley's basketball squad wallop Carrizozo by a tally of 42-16.
With the victory, Hondo Valley improves its record to 3-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host Carrizozo (Carrizozo, NM) to play the Grizzlies in a A District 3 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 0-18.
